nat geo documentaries, This day was about eight miles and every last bit of it was tough. We began early, and since there was no spot to rest in the shade we simply continued trekking. The Hermit Trail was for the most part fit as a fiddle, yet there were a couple spots where rock slides had secured the trail, and we needed to walk precisely over the stones. At a certain point I saw a little poisonous snake, around 18 creeps in length, in favor of the trail. That was the first occasion when I ever saw one in nature. After that I was extremely watchful about taking hold of rocks while climbing up the trail. I didn't put my hand on a stone edge unless I could see the highest point of it.
nat geo documentaries, When we made it to Hermit's Rest, we were back on the South Rim. There we took the van back to the guest's inside. While on the edge, make certain to watch the sky for California Condors. This is an incredible territory for them, since there aren't any telephone or electric lines in the gully. We watched one flying for around fifteen minutes and it just fluttered its wings once.
