The National Park contains most of the canyon, yet the northern edge manages significantly more emotional all encompassing perspectives. The southern edge is to a great extent perceptible by means of real streets that keep running close to the edge, with pulloffs and grand streets to investigate, trek and camp.
The Northern edge is a remote destination, and no less than 1/2 day drive from the southern edge. Snaring around the gulch, you will see a portion of the colossal perspectives of Marble Canyon and skirt near Lake Powell along the way.

A place that is known for enormous extremes in southwest Nevada
Awesome Basin National Park is situated on the Utah outskirt in Nevada, and is a region of incredible extremes. The huge Mount Wheeler sits more than 2.5 miles above ocean level, and is topped with snow a significant part of the year. At the base of the mountain, the area transforms into dry desert. Underneath the ground, an eleborate arrangement of hollows of stalagmites and stalactites develop from the roofs and floor of Lehman Caves.
